Friendly smiling face to welcome you as you arrive and the place is clearly popular for all the right reasons. We had the full breakfast and lovely big pot of tea to wash it down, the food was excellent and beautifully presented right down to the beans placed in a heated dish to put on your breakfast as and where it suited, thank you for a lovely meal that set us up for the day!

We turned up without booking at 10:30 on a Saturday. Grandchildren their parents and me and my wife so quite a bunch. Netherless, as soon as a large table became available- it was cleared and cleaned and we re in- in just a few minutes. Good as people regularly have to queue to get a table. Every plate of food was wonderful, the service was considerate and it all arrived at the same time. I had Spanish fish soup, my wife had Tuscan Bean soup- both excellent. My American daughter in law- proclaimed her American Breakfast better than the fare in USA. All the different dishes were delineated- colourful and served in wonderful small skillets, deep bowls, metal trays and plates- fantastic stuff!! Cant recommend this place enough. We all had a great time, and the atmosphere was really lively with small children and people of all ages. Great fun- we always come back for more- recommended. 10/10

Came here with a friend this morning and had the farmers breakfast. It was delicious and a very good size portion. Great coffee and good atmosphere! Didn't have any of their cakes but they looked very yummy!

We marked this place to come back to when driving through the country. It was a fabulous stop, quite a large place with indoor and outdoor seating, along with a kids area in the back and a shop with hundreds of beers. I bought a unique bottle of gin. Only a single beer on tap, but lots of cakes and sweets to chose from, as well as breakfast all day. Would stop here again!

Came here 9 months ago and wasn't all that impressed, leaving a 3-star returned. Returned a few days ago and can honestly say it was the best breakfast I've ever had. The service was very slow, the tea was weak and the toast could have done with being done longer - but those are the only complaints. The service being slow doesn't matter if you're not in a rush and perhaps we were impatient with the tea. The food, though - delicious. The farmer's breakfast was amazing, every bit of it. It isn't the cheapest place in the world - we had some extras (sausages and toast) and it came to just over 40 for the two of us, but you're clearly paying for quality. Would quite happily return again to see which of the two visits shows the genuine side. I reckon it's this one as other people do rate the food here.

What a place! We popped in thinking we’d have a quick bite but this place is so much more. Everything about it was spot on from the moment we were greeted to actually getting our food which was perfect. We had a Burger with Caramelised Onions and Fish & Chips. So so good and I must give a particular shout out for how good the chips are. Better than most chippies and really set the tone for the standard of food there. Can’t wait to go back.
